Why not just wash your car inside or in the shade? Washing your car in the hot sun just increases the chance of spots appearing. Your the expert though…

No, Vinegar is in all cleaning products, it is diluted obviously. It won’t damage anything. If for some reason you think it will, just tape of the areas.
