whent to Australia …
whent to Australia this winter with a 2 month old LP guide of the country and was surprised by how bad little use the book was to someone backpacking. Most info in the book is geared to people driving with a good amount of cash on them. Plus the maps are generaly bad and some basic info about getting around is missing…keep in mind OZ is where the books are made….

LP has been accomodating to Business People now, which sucks!
LP used to be the only guide backpackers can depend on, why did LP give in? Now they’re just like Frommer’s and Fodor’s
